As the owner of Hyperbaric Health Solutions, I take any opportunity to spend time in my chamber. If I'm on a split shift from my other job, I will spend about an hour and a half relaxing and healing in there. I'll cruise the internet, listen to music and sometimes take a nap. After my ears have acclimated to the change in pressure, my body begins to feel more at ease. Just knowing that every breath I take, more filtered oxygen is being disbursed in my body for quicker recovery from a run, a workout session or if I'm feeling a little under the weather. This puts my mind at ease. The sessions are my time to get away from the stressors of life. It's multi-tasking in a way. I get a quiet space to organize my thoughts, think about life and figure out how I'm willing to spend it on this beautiful earth. We only get one body and so I want to treat it the best that I can.
