3 Myths about Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapies DEBUNKED!

Ran across an article today that made me so mad!

Uncommon treatment gives Lafayette woman new hope

Don't get me wrong; I'm glad this woman found a treatment that worked for her. But what she was told by her doctor about HBOT--it was totally uncalled for.

Here are 3 major myths about HBOT:

1. HBOT is 'Uncommon'

2. HBOT is 'Expensive'

3. You can't have HBOT 'Everywhere'

If you're wondering, none of these are true. Do a web search for HBOT and you'll find thousands of articles from doctors, athletes, patients, friends, and parents who have benefited or know someone who has benefited from Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.

HBOT is an investment but these chambers are not expensive. They fit inside your home. They even roll up and are portable. They come in all shapes and sizes. They benefit you, your children, and your pets.

In the article the patient had this to say about her time in the chamber, "It’s a pleasant two hours, really."

Her daughter said, "The amount of medication that she is no longer taking is amazing."

Even the doctor admitted, "We see people who came in and couldn’t walk, and they walk out of here. It’s just amazing to see how well it works."

You can try it for yourself. Contact me today and decide for yourself if HBOT is right for you.

Chamber Sessions

As the owner of Hyperbaric Health Solutions, I take any opportunity to spend time in my chamber. If I'm on a split shift from my other job, I will spend about an hour and a half relaxing and healing in there. I'll cruise the internet, listen to music and sometimes take a nap. After my ears have acclimated to the change in pressure, my body begins to feel more at ease. Just knowing that every breath I take, more filtered oxygen is being disbursed in my body for quicker recovery from a run, a workout session or if I'm feeling a little under the weather. This puts my mind at ease. The sessions are my time to get away from the stressors of life. It's multi-tasking in a way. I get a quiet space to organize my thoughts, think about life and figure out how I'm willing to spend it on this beautiful earth. We only get one body and so I want to treat it the best that I can.
